Wale worked at Chase Merchant Bank (later Continental Merchant Bank) in Lagos where he rose to the position of Head, Treasury and Deputy Head, Corporate Finance. He joined the World Bank/IFC in Washington DC where he worked on economic and financial packages for several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Indonesia and India.
He is a co-founder of Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited (“IBTC”), now Stanbic IBTC. He founded Denham Management Limited. In 1999, he was appointed by the Lagos State Government as Honourable Commissioner for Finance, a position he held for two terms. He sits on the Board of Chapel Hill Denham.
Mr. Hassan-Odukale is a recipient of the national honor, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) and sits on the board of several blue-chip companies in Nigeria.
He is a Munich Re scholar and a Securities and Exchange Commission accredited Investment Manager and Portfolio Advisor
Mohammed holds an LL.B in Law from the University of Maiduguri and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.
He was an appointee of then President Olusegun Obasanjo to the Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria. Mohammed joined the Board of Chapel Hill Denham in May 2005
Taofiq had earlier worked in the law office of Adeniji Kazeem & Co. He also worked as the pioneer non-expatriate Group Legal Executive at The JOTNA Group.
