Board of Trustees


Olawale Edun

Olawale Edun has over 36 years of experience in merchant banking, corporate finance, economics and international finance at national and international levels. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of London and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Sussex

Wale worked at Chase Merchant Bank (later Continental Merchant Bank) in Lagos where he rose to the position of Head, Treasury and Deputy Head, Corporate Finance. He joined the World Bank/IFC in Washington DC where he worked on economic and financial packages for several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Indonesia and India.

He is a co-founder of Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited (“IBTC”), now Stanbic IBTC. He founded Denham Management Limited. In 1999, he was appointed by the Lagos State Government as Honourable Commissioner for Finance, a position he held for two terms. He sits on the Board of Chapel Hill Denham.


Hassan Oye Odukale

Oye Hassan-Odukale holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Administration from the University of Houston and has since 1994 held the position of Managing Director/ CEO of Leadway Assurance Company Limited.

Mr. Hassan-Odukale is a recipient of the national honor, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) and sits on the board of several blue-chip companies in Nigeria.

He is a Munich Re scholar and a Securities and Exchange Commission accredited Investment Manager and Portfolio Advisor

Mohammed Ciroma

Mohammed Ciroma was formerly the Managing Director of Daily Times, Nigeria’s oldest newspaper. He has a broad range of experience across financial services, real estate, publishing and information technology.

Mohammed holds an LL.B in Law from the University of Maiduguri and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.

 He was an appointee of then President Olusegun Obasanjo to the Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria. Mohammed joined the Board of Chapel Hill Denham in May 2005

Taofiq Bello-Aromire

Chief Executive Officer

Taofiq Bello-Aromire (LL.B, BL, MBA, CITN) is a seasoned administrator. He developed the first regulated under-aged football league in Nigeria and managed same as the pioneer Executive Secretary/CEO of  Lagos State youth league between 2010-2015.

Taofiq had earlier worked in the law office of Adeniji Kazeem & Co. He also worked as the pioneer non-expatriate Group Legal Executive at The JOTNA Group.

This lover of scrabble and reading is married.


Olugbenga Musa

Head, Planning and Partnerships

   Olugbenga Musa obtained a Degree in Economics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria  and is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management

    Olugbenga has over 10 years’ consulting experience in private entities across health, education, manufacturing, and agriculture.

  He has a deep knowledge of the West African Business landscape, skilled in strategy development, financial modelling, and advisory mandates in both public and private sectors.


Olawale Buraimoh

Chief Finance Officer

Olawale Buraimoh is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.  He previously worked with Akintola Williams Deloitte, Arowolo Group of Companies as the Group Accountant and Paxo Pharmaceuticals Limited as the Finance Manager.

  Wale is an expert in Audit, Accounting, Taxation and Financial Advisory.

  He enjoys sharing his knowledge by mentoring the youths.
