Founded in 2015, Little Big Heart Foundation is a registered non-governmental entity operating at the nonprofit organizational level in Nigeria.
We see a Nigeria where every woman and child has the power to create opportunities for themselves free from poverty.
We are an operational NGO, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project.
When women earn, they tend to spend about 90% of, if not all of their earnings on the welfare and upkeep of their families. A woman would do nearly anything to ensure that her children are well fed, clothed and attend the best schools, thus preparing them for a window of opportunities in the future.
The children we see today are our future. If we must protect our future, make the world safer and invest in a better tomorrow, then we have to ensure that the children of today are well equipped and informed to cater for our world tomorrow.
Improving the lives of poor and vulnerable women and children through charity, healthcare, education & socio-economic empowerment
Rendering instant help and providing resources to those in need
Enhancing quality of life through medical support and wellness
Facilitating learning and acquisition of life-changing knowledge
Building skills for financial independence and growth
Carefully designed programs using extensive experience providing care services in deprived communities
We provide instant relief through regular provision of welfare to women and children in our beneficiary communities. While we work on lasting solutions, Community Aid allows us to reach families with their immediate needs.

Monthly celebrations and community events
Over 4,000 women and children reached with food, money, and educational support
Instead of building one large feeding center, we've redesigned our Food Bank system by working through trusted local food sellers ("Mama Puts") already operating inside poor communities. A calm, distributed, accountable infrastructure that feeds people daily without noise, chaos, or waste.
Daily nutritious meals with carbohydrate, protein, vegetables & clean water
Distributed through local community kitchens
Families collect meals safely close to home
Supports local economy and preserves dignity
Critical Need: 27 million people in Nigeria face acute hunger
2026 Goal: Raise ₦182 million to sustain rapid food access for families facing chronic food insecurity
Teaching professional craft skills to less privileged children, helping them gain clarity, learn values, discipline, and achieve financial stability. We're building a world where underprivileged children can gain useful skills to break from the chain of poverty.
Arts, painting, and craft skills
Music and dance training
Sports and physical development
Hairdressing, tailoring, and baking
59 children empowered with craft skills, now earning income
All year round, we collect and distribute clothing to help cloth, cover, and protect our beneficiaries. Rather than wearing old torn clothing, our beneficiaries now have proper cover, increased confidence, and improved productivity.
New and quality clothing distribution
Shoes and accessories
School uniforms for children
Seasonal clothing drives
Over 5,000 women and children clothed in three years
Real stories, real change. See how we're transforming lives across Nigeria.
Regular food distribution has helped families transition from struggling to eat once a day to having nutritious meals daily.
Children who learned crafts are now earning income, with some becoming professional hairdressers and bakers.
Scholarship programs have enabled out-of-school children to return to education with full support.
Currently operating in Lugbe, Abuja - serving communities facing underdevelopment crisis
Founder & Executive Director
"My passion for humanity dates back to my childhood. I loved helping people do better and every time I was eager to see people smile."
After completing her studies in 2015, Ime founded Little Big Heart Foundation to create a structured platform for giving back to society and driving meaningful change.
Under her leadership, a team of 200 volunteers has raised over 25 million Naira and directly improved the lives of nearly 10,000 women and children across Nigeria.
"Rather than just giving, I decided to create an institution that would allow individuals with like minds the opportunity to impact people, give back to society, and inspire more action."
